ENTRIES
- Swimmers may compete in a maximum of five (5) individual swims plus relays.
- All club entries must be submitted through the Swimming Canada online system at swimming.ca.
- Unattached masters must send the following information to the meet manager (via mail or email):
- First and last name
- Swimming Canada registration ID number
- Date of birth
- Club code (WILD – for Swim Alberta Unattached Masters)
- Events with entry times
- Entry fees (as per the meet information package)
- Entry times are required for all individual events (NTs are not permitted). Please estimate times if needed.
- No deck entries will be accepted. Deck scratches will be marked as DNS (Did Not Start).
ENTRY FEES
- $40.00 per swimmer: Entries submitted by midnight, Wednesday, February 1st.
- $45.00 per swimmer: Late entries submitted after midnight February 1st, but before noon on Friday, February 3rd.
Note: No refunds for scratches after February 1st.
Cheques should be made payable to “Foothills Masters Swim Club (FMSC).” Cheques may be mailed separately from the entry email.
E-transfer of funds is also accepted. Please send to: fmscmeets@gmail.com.
RESULTS
- Results will be posted at fmsc.ca and swimming.ca.
- A copy of the results can be emailed to those who request and provide their email address.
SCORING
- There will be no team or individual scoring for this event.
MEET RULES
- The meet will follow FINA Masters rules, supplemented by Swimming Canada and Swim Alberta rules and regulations, where appropriate. The meet package will outline all specific rule changes and applications. Swim Alberta policies will also apply.
DIVING RULES
- Starts will be conducted from Starting Platforms (blocks) as per FINA FR 2.3 and SW 4.1.
ELIGIBILITY
- Swimmers must be registered in the Swimming Canada database and have a valid registration ID number (9 digits beginning with 12…).
- Foreign swimmers registered with a FINA-affiliated federation are also eligible.
MODESTY WEAR
- Swimmers are allowed to race with modesty wear, as long as it complies with Swim Alberta’s regulations. It is not necessary to inform the referee of modesty wear, which must not provide any technical advantage.
DEADLINE
- Entries and fees are due by midnight, February 1st, 2025.
- Late entries will be accepted until noon, February 3rd, 2025.
